Santa Claus returns to hospitals with the help of Solidarity Firefighters
Like every year before this, Fundación Villavecchia has returned to organize Santa Claus’ visit to the hospitals of Sant Pau (Barcelona) and German Trías i Pujol (Badalona)
Santa Claus passed through the Hosptial of Sant Pau on Thursday, December 18th, where he rappelled down the side of the building with windows looking into the Pediatric floor, with the help of Solidarity Firefighters. From outside the window, they waved to the hospital’s children, going window to window. Afterwards, they entered the rooms and delivered small gifts to the little ones. You can see this in action in this reel on Instagram.
Santa Claus comes to greet the patients of German Trias Hospital
At the hospital Germans Trías this Monday 22nd brought another action full of magic and solidarity. For a third consecutive year, Santa Claus has rappelled off the building’s facade of maternal-child care, rappelling towards the Pediatric wing’s windows where he waves at the young patients and their families and delivered gifts and toys through the windows. Inside their rooms, children, mothers, fathers, and Pediatric personnel have been awestruck with this magic from Santa Claus and his helpers.

This initiative, brought forth by the Fundación Villavecchia with the support of Solidarity Firefighters of Barcelona and the collaboration of the Firefighters from the Generalitat of Badalona park, have as an objective to bring imagination, hope, and smiles to the young children in the Pediatric floor and their families during these especially significant moments. We would also like to thank the janitorial personnel for their hard work throughout the year.
