The support and donations across solidarity initiatives have increased by 29%

There are some truly incredible people that, with their creativity and drive, have helped make our work possible. People like Ingrid, an ex-patient of leukemia who, with her LEUCO’s solidarios (hand-made keychains, magnets, and needles made by herself, family, and friends) being able to raise up to 18.887 euros to help maintain our formative scholarship in pediatric oncology and hematology. Club Espotiu de Mossos d’Esquadra have also recently helped us, raising 4.172 euros for the Foundation through their Christmas lottery.

The family of little Matilda and the firefighters of Zona Franca joined to give a total of 9.935 euros to our project of the Pabellón de la Victoria. They have done so with the sponsors garnered through their participation in the Cursa de Bombers of Barcelona. Additionally, small Guim, Linu, and Mario have celebrated their birthday solidarity in support of the Villavecchia Foundation with their friends, neighbors, and families, and have helped raise 589 euros.

The family and friends of small Blanca have been able to raise 55.000 euros with their Solidarity Market selling clothes, which is celebrated every December. This money goes into the attention programs for children who have beat cancer through the assistance of the Villavecchia Foundation.

There are many people who have helped us continue the care for children with illness and their families, whether it be with the organization of fundraising events, creating solidarity initiatives for the young patients or including the Villavecchia Foundation in the programs of social corporate responsibility (in the case of companies).

Your solidarity efforts are indescribably essential and, with World NGO Day (February 27th), we want to truly express the value of the thousands of people who have helped us, without which it would be incredibly difficult to continue our mission. A special thanks to all!
