The new patronage law expands the base amount from 150 euros to 250 euros that is needed to deduct 80% of the donation by IRPF.

Did you know that making a donation to the Villavecchia Foundation now has more benefits? With the new patronage law, the first 250 euros donated lead directly to an 80% deduction. In other words, if you donate 250 euros during the year 2024 to the Foundation, you could deduct 200 euros in your declaration of rent, while benefitting children with grave illnesses and their families.

Starting from those 250 euros, the deduction is 40% (and goes up to 45% if in the last two years you have also made a similar amount donation to the same entity).

Companies can deduct a 40% of their donation (a 50% deduction if they donate every year), and additionally expanded is the concept of a collaboration agreement, including an expression of in-kind donations, alongside the deductibility of costs derived from the provision of services free of charge.

Also included is the concept of tax-deductible donations of all types of movable and immovable property; and expanded are the categories for exempt economic activities, when developed by non-profit organizations, in developing or innovative activities; and in the benefits of integrative socio-laboral services for people at risk of social exclusion.
