Awards

JOSEP TRUETA PRIZE 1999

This prize is awarded by the Catalan Department of Health & Social Security. It was presented to the Foundation for:

  • its permanent support of anti-cancer activities.
  • the support given to families of children with cancer.
  • its contribution to health research by pediatric oncologists in Catalonia.
  • its collaboration with the publication of the book “There is a Future” which offers children information to help them face the future with hope.

CATALAN PRIZE FOR COMMUNICATION AND PUBLIC RELATIONS 2000

This prize is awarded by the Catalan Association of Communication and Public Relations to non-profit entities and individuals. The XVI edition was presented to the Enriqueta Villavecchia Foundation.

“TELVA” 2004 PRIZE

The Telva Solidarity lst.prize - National Category was awarded for the social and home services provided to sick children and their families.
The monetary award is sponsored by the following companies:
Recoletos Grupo de Comunicación S.A., Vodafone, Don Algodón and Inditex.

“INTERNATIONAL ASHEKOR FOUNDATION” PRIZE FOR 2005

The foundation received a third prize for its project to recruit hospital volunteers.

CARREFOUR SOLIDARITY FOUNDATION FOR 2006

The Foundation was one of six organizations elected by 12.267 employees for one of the prizes awarded by the Carrefour Solidarity Foundation for 2006.

2008 GOLDEN CROSS – SPANISH ASSOCIATION FOR EUROPEAN DEVELOPMENT

In March 2008 the Foundation received the Golden Cross awarded by the Spanish Association for European Development. This is awarded to those institutions that work towards unity, peace, solidarity and human rights.

2008 PRIZE FOR THE WORK OF THE VOLUNTARY SECTOR

For its project involving voluntary support for children and young adults with long-term illnesses the Foundation was awarded this prize by the Department of Government and Public Administration – Secretariat of Civic Activities.

XXII HORTA GUINARDÓ PRIZE

The jury of XXII Edition of the Horta Guinardó 2008 decided to award this prize to the Fundación Enriqueta Villavecchia for its work in improving the quality of life in the field of child health and services to the community.
These prizes are awarded to persons or entities that have provided outstanding cultural, sporting or support activities in the district.

2009 PRIZE – THE FOUNDATION OF THE MANRESA MUTUAL SOCIETY

The Foundation’s programme of volunteer home services for children and young adults with long term illnesses was awarded the 2009 prize for the best project in this area by the Foundation of the Manresa Mutual Society.
