JOSEP TRUETA PRIZE 1999

This prize is awarded by the Catalan Department of Health and Social Security. The Enriqueta Villavecchia Private Foundation for Infantile Oncology received this prize for the:

• Permanent support of social work activities involved in combating cancer.
• Support offered to the families of children with cancer.
• Providing of impulse and initiative in the development of health care investigation and research done by pediatric oncologists in Catalunya.
• Initiative in collaborating on the publishing of the book The Future Exists ("El Futur Existeix"). This book is aimed at giving children ideas and tools to enable them to face the future with hope.

CATALUNYA COMMUNICATIONS AND PUBLIC RELATIONS PRIZE 2002

This prize is awarded by the Catalan Association of Communications and Public Relations in recognition of the professional mission of a company, a non-profit organization, a professional or an individual. In the XVI edition The Enriqueta Villavecchia Private Foundation for Infantile Oncology was honored with this prize.
