Children with cancer experience drastic changes in their lives. This in turn affects the lives of their immediate families due to:
These are amongst the many problems related to such a serious illness when this in itself is enough of a burden.
We provide material and psychological support, improving the physical and family environment. We seek to allow the child to cope with the disease and its consequences in the most dignified way possible. This in turn contributes to the possiblity of curing the illness.
We attempt, in short, to improve the children’s quality of life and their complete integration in society.
The Foundation is active in all Catalan hospitals that operate pediatric oncological units: Sant Joan de Déu, Materno Infantil de Vall d’Hebrón, German Trias i Pujol of Badalona, Sant Pau, Corporació Sanitaria Parc Taulí of Sabadell, etc.
